The Texas online license to carry (“LTC”) course is a convenient way to obtain your Texas LTC. It is approved statewide by the Texas Department of Public Safety (“DPS”). The Texas LTC, also known as a concealed handgun license, or concealed carry license, allows you to publicly carry both open and concealed. In addition, it allows you to carry with fewer restrictions than the recently signed permitless carry, or “Constitutional Carry” law.
