Summer is Here; Travelling With Your TX LTC

Well summer is here and you have your TX LTC. With summer comes family travel for many occasions (vacations, youth sports, etc.). Also comes some questions for those of us who have a TX LTC, such as: Where can you travel? What are the carry laws for other States?

Well, we’re in luck. If you have your TX LTC, most states have reciprocity laws with TX that allow you to carry your handgun. To see an interactive map of these states, click here. Take a look at this map prior to your travel to become aware of the different laws of the States you will be travelling through to get to your final destination.

BE CAUTIOUS AND KNOW THE RESTRICTIONS

It is important to note that even if the state you’re visiting has reciprocity with Texas, there may be certain restrictions on where you can carry your concealed handgun. For example, you may not be able to carry your handgun in certain government buildings or on certain types of public transportation. It is always best to check the laws of the state you are visiting before carrying your concealed handgun.
